Clinical depth, translated into food you'll actually eat.
Jennifer Ying is a Registered Dietitian (RD) based in Vancouver, BC, and the founder of Nova Nutrition Counselling. She holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of British Columbia and is registered with the College of Health and Care Professionals of BC.
Her clinical career has focused on the areas where nutrition changes lives most: cardiac rehabilitation and preventive heart health, diabetes management, and general medicine — including work on mental health and psychiatric units across British Columbia. She has partnered with physicians and their patients to prevent chronic disease and build the foundations of longevity, translating complex medical nutrition into plans people can actually live with.
Jennifer's deepest interest is the microbiome and its far-reaching influence on health. She specializes in gut health and the gut–brain connection — the growing science linking digestion to mood and cognition, including anxiety, depression, and ADHD. She has also pursued additional training to support clients through their fertility journeys.
